Marlene Lehtonen's Story
I attended Kent State from 67 to 76, received a B.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Special Education. I married Wayne Rogers Dec. 18, 1971, and divorced him in 1976.
I taught school in Kent for
one year then became a social worker for one year. After that, I returned to teaching and taught at Ashtabula VOED for one year. I lived in Eastlak...Expand for more
e at that time. In 1976 I moved to Ashtabula then back to Painesville in 1977, taught with the Painesville City Schools from 1975 to 1998. Remarried twice during that time, decided I'm not good at marriage and won't be doing that again.
I'm currently teaching in the Computer Technology field at Kent State and do some freelance contracting.
